Donna Carnahan is a dedicated creator whose work transports viewers to sun‑lit Mediterranean locales through richly composed photographic and mixed‑media pieces. As an artist whose work centers on romantic, immersive landscapes her inspiration is primarily drawn from European locations, especially Italy.
With deep cultural immersion, technical precision, and community connection, she has built a recognized artistic practice that resonates both locally in Houston and internationally. She offers custom commissions and editions, with her studio located at 1907 Sabine Street, Studio #148 at Sawyer Yards artist complex in Houston, where she provides free delivery and installation locally.

The mixed media canvases range from small to large, from 14” x 11” to 30” x 40”, including mountain, lake, coastal and cityscape scenes using acrylic paints, gouache paint, original photographs, tempered glass, and resin pour, as well as birchwood, Italian marble tiles and antique gold frames.

I invite my viewers to pause, reflect, and immerse yourselves in moments of profound serenity. A seasoned traveler and passionate visual storyteller, my work is rooted in a deep reverence for nature, history, and the subtle poetics of light.
