“Based in Austin and San Marcos, Texas. In my artistic practice, I find myself constantly immersed in a world of experimentation and exploration, drawing inspiration from the vibrant and nostalgic imagery of 2000s graphics. I am deeply fascinated by the intricate ways in which our childhood experiences shape us as individuals and how memories linger and evolve. Printmaking has become a captivating medium for me, as I am intrigued by how mark-making can serve as a visual representation of memories and the passage of time. In my printmaking practice, I often incorporate a myriad of stray marks, each one adding a unique texture and dimension to my creations. I also enjoy experimenting with photo transfers onto my prints, blending the realms of photography and printmaking to create rich visual storytelling. Through these techniques, I strive to capture the essence of memory and time, inviting viewers to embark on a journey of introspection and reflection.”
